the vineyards were planted quite recently, Guyot training, 2.5m between rows, 0.90m between vinestocks. 9-10 buds per vine. Medium limestone clay with some marl, good balance of organic matter. The vineyards are mown and mulched. The antiparasitic treatments with low environmental impact are carried out only when the seasonal weather conditions require it.

in steel vats after destalking, on the skins for 7 days. The fermentation takes place without added sulphites, which the wine develop naturally due to the lengthy contact with the skins.
in vats for 4 months, in second-third passage barriques for at least 12 months, then at least 6-8 months in the bottle.
in the glass it is garnet red. Good consistency. The bouquet is intense, complex and fine. There are notes of ripe red fruit, spices and tobacco. On the palate it is dry, warm, quite soft, fresh and fairly tannic. Good persistence and intensity.
to better exalt the characteristics of the wine, it should be drunk at 18-20°C. It is therefore advisable to bring the bottle up from the cellar at least 24 hours before serving and to open it at least 3 hours before serving.
ideal with roast red meats, pot roasts and game. Delicious with chocolate.
